We will:

  •   identify the branches of science, the scientist,  and their jobs
  •  explain the difference between observations and inferences
  • describe scientific methods including the process of developing a hypothesis and testing the hypothesis through a controlled experiment
  • collect and analyze data using metric  measurements and  tools
