A core team from Potomac Elementary School is partnering with the Training and Technical Assistance Center from William & Mary and Old Dominion to offer a schoolwide positive behavior & academic support model. SOAR stands for:

Students are taught academic and behavioral expectations listed by:
watching what to do
practicing what to do
receiving praise.
The model also incorporates the use of incentives. Faculty members give incentives when the students demonstrate the expectations.
